Austin moving FAQs

Common questions about hiring our crew in Austin.

How do your crews handle third-story walk-ups?
Our crews are trained for multi-floor moves. We use shoulder straps, stair dollies, and corner guards to carry heavy items safely up and down stairs, and we pad railings and walls to protect both your home and your belongings. Stairs are always included in the hourly rate — no surcharges.
How do you load U-Boxes, PODS, and rental trucks?
We load tight and layered: heavy items and furniture form a stable base, boxes are stacked by weight, and everything is strapped off at load points so nothing shifts in transit. For U-Box and POD containers we maximize every square foot so you rent fewer units. mattresses and upholstered items get blanket-wrapped before they go in.
Is billing really transparent with no hidden fees?
Yes. Billed hourly starting when we arrive at your door and stopping when the job is done. No round-trip billing, no fuel surcharges, no stair fees, no surprise line items. The quote we send is the price structure you pay.
What does labor-only mean if I've never hired moving labor before?
You rent the truck, trailer, U-Box, or POD — we supply the trained crew. A 2-person team at $120/hr handles all loading, unloading, furniture wrapping, and reassembly, so you don't lift anything heavy or risk injury.
Can you load a truck I'm driving long distance myself?
Absolutely — that's one of our most common jobs. We load your rental truck or container so items are stable and won't shift on a long drive, and we can unload it at your destination market where we have crews too.
