BBM honors PUC rates of $0.60/lb per item for full-service moves that include our professional packing. If you pack yourself, we recommend checking your renter's or homeowner's insurance policy for additional coverage. Questions? Ask us when you book — we're upfront about everything.
Payment FAQs
When is payment due?
For local jobs, payment is collected at the end of the move. For regional or long-distance moves, a deposit is required to confirm your booking date.
Is there a deposit required?
Local jobs typically require no deposit. Long-distance and regional moves require a booking deposit — amount confirmed when we schedule your move.
What's the 3% Stripe fee?
Credit/debit card payments are processed through Stripe. A 3% processing fee is added to cover the transaction cost. To avoid this, pay by Venmo, PayPal F&F, or cash.
Can I tip my crew?
Tips are always appreciated and go 100% to your crew — not to BBM management. Cash tips are best, but any method works.
Are there any hidden fees?
None. We quote you a rate and that's what you pay (plus the 3% card fee if applicable). Fuel, tolls, and travel time are discussed at booking.
